Like any new home, interior design is the final step. In my view, it’s also the most rewarding. Below I’ve included some themes and descriptions to help you generate ideas. We could certainly do worse than simply drawing inspiration from these beauties.

 

This aquascape features the two most common elements in freshwater setups, rocks and plants. The dark background implies depth of field.

A submerged forest.

This fully-developed saltwater reef is teeming with hidden life and is indistinguishable from its oceanic counterpart. Ideal water quality is crucial for sustaining this growth.

 The overgrown, somewhat wild, theme of undisturbed nature represents what I believe is the pinnacle of the fish-keeping hobby.
